If you haven’t had your fill of a an almost entirely caucasian group of twenty-somethings dealing with the harrowing drama of working at a bar, or being a nurse in Orange County, then you are in luck. MTV has announced two new reality series that will debut in October ‘Big Tip Texas’ and ‘Scrubbed In’.
The first show, ‘Big Tips Texas,’ follows a group of young women who work at a popular Texas bar and we assume live on tips (and the money they get from MTV that we are supposed to forget about). The show will premiere with back-to-back episodes on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 10 p.m. PT/ET. The second series ‘Scrubbing In’ was known as ‘Nurses’ but was later changed. That show will follow nine nurses that work in Orange County. That show will premiere on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 10 p.m. PT/ET.
Now ‘Big Tip Texas’ takes place in a real bar, with 10 girls all-together. Four of the girls have worked there in the past, six of them are new to the establishment and will have to learn the ropes. One girl wants to college then attend Harvard Law (being on an MTV reality show will surely win over the acceptance board) one girl runs the place, one is a rodeo princess, another a fashion designer. MTV will bring 14 half-hour episodes to the series. In the Orange County hospital, the nurses will have to deal with being understaffed as they tough out their 12 weeks at the local hospital.
