Best Buy, Amazon, Microsoft cut prices on Macbook Pro, Tablets and TVs for Labor Day

 
It may be the end of summer and the beginning of shorter days and colder-nights, but that that also means it’s Labor Day weekend, and that is a great time to save money on almost gadget you have been shopping for. To lead off Best Buy’s Labor Day sale, the company has cut $200 off the price of its Macbook Pro line.
 
This means for a limited time you can pick up the MacBook Pro with Retina Display with 13.3″ Display (8GB Memory, 128GB Flash Storage) starting at $1,299 (Reg. Price: $1,499). Other models are also on sale, leading up to $200 off, the price changes depending on the size of the flash drive, RAM or if you would rather have the 15″ model.
 
Other large brands that having a sale at Best Buy this weekend is the Insignia 65″ LED 1080p 120Hz HDTV ($400 off at $999) or the LG 55″ LED 1080p 60Hz Smart HDTV ($100 off at $749). The Toshiba Satellite 17.3″ Laptop with an i7 processor, 8GB memory and 750GB hard drive is on sale as well for $699 ($100 off). Not to be missed is the incredibly stylish Sony NEX-5R Compact System Camera with 18-55mm Lens, that’s $300 off this weekend at $449.
 
Microsoft is having a few promotions of its own, including the Nokia Lumia 520 for just $99 without a contract. Acer Aspire V5-571PG is now $699 that’s $300 off for a limited time. Microsoft also cut the price of the Surface RT to $349, and the Surface Pro now starts at $799. Microsoft is also taking pre-orders for the highly-anticipated Xbox One, they are even taking pre-orders on the Xbox One Day One Edition.
 
Not to be outdone of course is Amazon, which is always on the lookout to beat the competition online. Amazon dropped the Kindle Fire HD to $159 again this weekend, and currently has the highly-praised Google Nexus 7 HD Tablet back in stock starting at just $229.
 
Video game pre-orders are a hot item this weekend as the fall-season is officially here, from the Xbox One to the PS4, consoles are some of the hottest items you can reserve. Pre-orders on the other hand are plentiful, and customers can get a ton of extras from games like ‘Call of Duty Ghosts’, ‘Assassin’s Creed 4’, ‘WatchDogs’, ‘Batman Origins’ and other games that will be released in just weeks.
