Joel Fry cast as Hizdahr zo Loraq in Game of Thrones
Many fans may have been wondering who will play the role of Hizdahr zo Loraq in the new season of Game of Thrones, well wait no longer! HBO has confirmed that the role will go to none-other than 10,000 BC actor Joel Fry. HBO confirmed the casting shortly after it was announced through EW.
The character, a “young scion,” who will ultimately meet the internet’s favorite dragon queen Daenerys Targaryen, was confirmed earlier this morning. This is just one of the castings that were announced over the past few months. Also announced was Homeland actor Pedro Pascal as Prince Oberyn Martell, Indira Varma as the prince’s paramour Ellaria Sand, Sherlock actor Mark Gattis as a Braavosi banker and Sigur Ros who’s role has yet to be confirmed, though he was cast.
Everyone in the world seems to be excited for ‘Game of Thrones’ to return. The last season broke records for the series, averaging 14.4 million viewers across all platforms. In total the popular series had 16 Emmy nominations and will return Spring 2014.
