It’s almost here, after months of waiting and teasing the popular series ‘American Horror Story: Coven’ is set to premiere. Ryan Murphy has released the opening credits to the highly anticipated series, a video that you can watch above. This marks the third season of the horror seasons, this one called ‘Coven’.
Murphy has stated that there is some giant clue hidden away in the new credits, one that will show how the series will end, but it may be a little too cryptic to figure out (and who would want to?). There will be 13 episodes this year. “You have to watch it 10 times because every frame is a clue for what the season will be,” Murphy stated during a BTS look at the series.
This year the series stars Jessica Lange as Fiona; Kathy Bates as Madame LaLaurie, a socialite and serial killer; and Angela Bassett as the voodoo expert and cult leader Marie Laveau. The stories all involve witches and/or witchcraft in America (hence the name). The new character Zoe (Taissa Farmiga), is trying to hide her own terrible secret, as they find out the secrets of the towns and locations in the series.
