Wes-Chatham-InsertEarlier today it was confirmed that Wes Chatham will be playing the role of ambitious cameraman ‘Castor,’ in the final two installments of the The Hunger Games franchise. Fans may remember Chatham from his role in “The Help,” his new character once lived in Capital City though he joins the rebellion alongside Katniss and her crew.
Castor is oftentimes seen with Cressida, another character that we confirmed earlier this month that will be played by Natalie Dormer. All of these announcements lead up to ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’, starring Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence alongside Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, with Stanley Tucci and Donald Sutherland. The film is directed by Francis Lawrence, from a screenplay by Simon Beaufoy and Michael deBruyn, based upon the novel “Catching Fire” by Suzanne Collins and produced by Nina Jacobson and Jon Kilik.
The first installment of “The Hunger Games” was the 14th highest-grossing North American release of all time grossing nearly $700 million at the worldwide box office and we expect the sequel aims to surpass that number. The Hunger Games is set to release on November 22nd worldwide.
