Microsoft’s Bing team heads to New York to discuss modern obstacles in design
Microsoft’s Bing division held a special meet-up in our fair city (New York) made up if industry leaders, journalists and media personalities; to discuss how technology plays a role in modern design and discuss the age-old conundrum of functionality and form in their industry.
The panel was moderated by Scott Erickson, senior director for Bing, and held panelists, designer Jonathan Adler, HGTV personality David Bromstad, fashion designer Cesar Galindo, ELLE Décor senior editor Ingrid Abramovitch, and Michael Kroll from the Bing team.
Microsoft unveiled the new Bing layout, using it as an example for functionality and modern design aesthetics. That design was unveiled on Tuesday, September 17 and offers, “beautiful look that draws the eye in, and clean, simple layout,” according to Microsoft’s official description of the service’s design.
