Google releases Chrome 30 for iOS following iOS 7 release, with requirements
Starting with the launch of iOS 7 iPhone users are going to be hammered with updates from almost every app they have on their phone. One particular nice app that you should update is Google Chrome. We reported last week that Google updated the iOS version of Chrome to 29, and less than an hour after iOS 7 was released, a new version is out.
Chrome 30 requires at least iOS version 6 to run, though most iPhone users should be downloading iOS 7 as we speak.
For the full details on Chrome 30.0.1599.12 see below:
- New look and feature enhancements for iOS7 on iPhone.
- Improvements to Fullscreen behavior especially on iPad (iOS7 only).
- New Settings UI.
- Maps and email links launch the Google Maps and Gmail apps (if installed) automatically. You can change your preference in Settings.

You can download the update as of right now from your iOS device.
