She is one actor that seems to get the perfect roles on all of the biggest franchises, Natalie Dormer from Game of Thrones has been confirmed for both The Hunger Games Mockingjay 1 and 2. In the film Natalie Dormer will play Cressida, this will be the third and fourth film in the series.
Natalie Dormer has had some terrific roles in the past, including Margaery Tyrell on HBO’s GoT. In the new films, for those of you that haven’t read all the books, Cressida is the film director who joins the growing rebellion. Lionsgate made the official announcement earlier today (Thursday). The film is Directed by Francis Lawrence and based on the novel Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins (link below).
The films are the story of young Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) who ends up leading a rebellion against the corrupt Capitol in Panem. The second film is up next in theaters, called ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’, it will premiere on November 21, 2014. The following film ‘Mockingjay: Part 1’ will release on November 20, 2015.
