Google updates iOS and Android apps to 2.0 and adds a wide-array of new features

A new app update from Google will make watching YouTube videos on your iOS device much faster, easier and more enjoyable than before. The latest YouTube apps for Android and for iOS allows users to watch a video at the bottom of your screen while you keep searching for new videos. The update also allows user to browse channels for playlists on mobile apps, or watch collections back-to-back without stopping or moving around.

A new cast button on YouTube lets you send YouTube videos from your phone or tablet to your connected TV, or Chromecast, Google TV, PlayStation 3 and select TVs but a new preview screen allows you to queue videos. The update also brings a new UI and a host of updates and bug fixes, you can watch the video above and download the update from your device’s app store whenever you have a spare moment from watching YouTube all day. Both versions should be out by the end of the day.
