Although millions have already pre-ordered and reserved their new PS4 console, Sony has yet to announce a release date for the highly anticipated machine. That will change this week when SonY Computer Entertainment hosts their GamesCom 2013 event.
PS4-Hardware-InsertDuring an official post on the Playstation Blog Europe, the company stated that on August 20 at 6:00 pm BST the company will detail its release plans for the PS4 console. Sony promises to talk about the future, “release plans for PlayStation 4, as well as updates on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.”
GamesCom is usually home to some terrific new games, IPs, features and announcements. So now you can add the PS4 release date (expected on or before November 29th (Black Friday) in the United States. Almost every analysts across the industry expects the PS4 and Xbox One to sell-out before the holiday, so if you haven’t reserved yet get to it.
