Ron-Burgundy-InsertMost fans know Ron Burgundy for his skills as a anchor, fewer know him for his skills as a Jazz-flutist, but everyone will get a chance to know the real story of his life thanks to the book. The book will be called, “Let Me Off at the Top! My Classy Life and Other Musings”. The book will debut one month before the highly anticipated sequel is released, “Anchorman: The Legend Continues.”
Will Ferrell and Adam McKay share writing credits for the films, but Burgundy himself is writing this touching story of his life, one that is sure to please fans this holiday season. According to the publisher the book will offer, “a rare glimpse behind the camera into the real life of a man many consider to be our greatest living news anchor.” These special moments will include his dog, little Baxter, the women of his past and special advice for his readers to live by.
“I’m too close to the work.” Burgundy said in a statement to the press, adding, “I don’t know if it’s the greatest autobiography ever written.” You can find the book online and in print on November 19, 2013. The movie “Anchorman: The Legend Continues” will premiere on December 20, 2013.
