As the star in Big Sean’s new music video for “Fire,” Miley Cyrus has never looked better. Though the video is a touch on the bizarre, Cyrus struts everything she’s got to the tone of Big Sean’s new single.
Big Sean has been explaining Cyrus’ part in the video all week with fans on his Twitter profile stating that it is a “special video for a special song.” Sean then continued, “I got Miley Cyrus for this video because she’s somebody who’s had a personal evolution as a lot of us have had. Besides all the personal stories I tell in the song, there are so many other ways people can make it through the fire.”
It seemed Big Sean had nothing but nice things to say about the pop-princess adding, “I think Miley did a great job as a metaphor for strong women, being strong person after heartbreak.” Big Sean said in the end Miley would, “end remaining as elegant as a rose. It’s a cool visual that has a cool concept and meaning to it.”
Cyrus told The Associated Press recently, “I think some people kind of fall off and they end up going crazy because you don’t give yourself time to go crazy,” she explained, talking about her departure from Disney and making it on her own. “That’s what you’re supposed to do; you are 20, you are supposed to be a mess because you haven’t figured it out yet, and 10 years from now I am supposed to have it all together.”
The video has done extremely well on Vimeo, already racking up close to a million views.
