Disney star Bella Thorne has been confirmed as the latest casting for the film adaptation of classic children’s book ‘Alexander and a terrible horrible no good very bad day’.
Already onboard with the project is Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner, who were picked to bring the classic book life on the big screen. While Ed Oxenbould was already chosen to play the lead role in the film, studios are no doubt hoping that fans of Bella Thorne will help improve ticket-sales as the movie gets closer to release.
The film of course is an adaptation of the 1972 title that was written by Judith Viorist, that centers on a boy who obviously has a pretty terrible day. The adaptation was written by Lisa Cholodenko and Rob Lieber, Thorne will star as the girlfriend of Alexander’s older brother. The movie is being directed by Miguel Arteta and is expected to premiere October 10, 2014.
Fans of course know Thorne as Cece Jones from Disney Channel’s Shake It Up.
