Sony has been revamping its popular music-streaming subscription service ‘Music Unlimited’. The application received a new UI update earlier this month, and now users can enjoy offline access and the ability to share playlists with friends.
Users that own an iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch can download their favourite tracks within the app, then listen to those songs, album or playlists even if they don’t have an internet connection (perfect for subway use here in the city). Sony also confirmed it is being offered “with our widespread high quality audio capabilities.”
Sony also promises that by the “end of this month,” they will also be launching playlist sharing to the web application, allowing you to easily share your Music Unlimited playlists to friends through Facebook, Twitter or email.
