There will be something entirely new this year stemming from The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The organization is kicking off a new event, and they are starting it off perfectly.
Both the “The Princess Bride” director Rob Reiner and star Cary Elwes will join Jason Reitman as live commentators for the Academy Awards screening of the classic film.
It was The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences that officially announced today (Monday) that it has chosen the film for the first ever live commentary event. That event will take place on August 15, 2013 at 7:30 at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills. If you are in the neighborhood and want to attend, you can do so, tickets for the event are $5 for the general public and $3 for Academy members.
