Jumping from one popular HBO series to another, actor Indira Varma has been confirmed to be taking on the role of Ellaria Sand in the highly anticipated fourth season of HBO’s runaway hit ‘Game of Thrones’.
The actress will play alongside the previously revealed character, Prince Oberyn Martell “The Red Viper” (played by Pedro Pascal). Varma is best known for playing Niobe on HBO’s ‘Rome’, though the actor has also appeared on Fox’s Human Target. She joins fellow Rome actor Ciarán Hinds.
Season three was a record year for the series, both its highest-rated and nominated for the most Emmy’s out of any other season to date. You can export roles to be confirmed, a few new trailers and a few surprises to be announced as the show gets closer to the season four premier.
