In heartbreaking ‘everything good must come to an end’ news, The newly moved series ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ has confirmed that the show will end after the next two seasons. The show recently was moved to FX’s new network ‘FXX’ and will premiere on September 4, 2014.
This upcoming season to debut the sister-network will be the show’s ninth season, and although the show is still extremely popular, it seems that it will be ending after the 10th season. It was during an interview with Rolling Stone, that Glenn Howerton stated, “Yes. There’s a certain point where you wear out your welcome and we don’t want to do that. We want to leave them wanting more. We spend a lot of time trying to find new lines to cross. We’re not trying to offend people or gross them out, but we’re looking to surprise them. I think we’re proud of what we’ve done so far, so it’s time to stop. I’m sure there are already a few people who are like ‘Jesus Christ is that show still on? Go away.'”
Yes the tenth season will be the show’s final season, much to heartbreak of fans across the world. There are still 2 seasons to catch up with your favorite actors, many of whom will be starting their own projects and who have successfully made the jump to cinema already.
