Earlier this week the stars of Veronica Mars got together to show-off their upcoming kikstarted film, while meeting fans and taking questions at Comic-Con 2013.
Warner Bros. also featured a behind-the-scenes look at the highly anticipated project, along with the first trailer that was featured at the event. “I’ll keep this short and sweet,” said creator Rob Thomas in an email update to movie’s Kickstarter backers. “This morning, we showed off the first footage from the movie in Hall H, to a packed crowd. Tomorrow, we’ll share it with the press. I wanted you to see it tonight.”
The five minute feature video, includes scenes from the film naturally, but i also adds cast interviews, quotes from fans and a promise of more to come. “I can tell you that it sort of has a Godfather III theme to it,” Thomas said. The project-lead added, “Which is odd, because why not pick Godfather II? It was better. … I can tell you Veronica has not worked as a private detective since the last time you saw her. Part of this movie is her getting back into this life she thought she left behind.”
