FOX has confirmed that it has rescheduled the premiere of the popular show ‘Glee’ due to the unforeseen death of one of the show’s stars. Fox made the confirmation earlier today (Friday) and has set a new date for the series start.
The series is being delayed because of the recent death of Cory Monteith, Glee will now move from September 19, 2013 to September 26, 2013. Both the network and 20th Century Fox TV have also jointly decided to delay the production of season five, that will now begin in August. The death of Monteith came as shock to fans and cast-members, the actor was found dead in his hotel room in Vancouver earlier this month. An autopsy revealed that Monteith had a deadly combination of heroin and alcohol in his system at the time of his death.
