Cory Monteith Official Coroner’s Report states actor died from Heroin, Alcohol mix
The official coroner’s report is in, and it states that actor Cory Monteith died of accidental causes from the mixed drug toxicity of heroin and alcohol. This according to the British Columbia Coroner’s Service, and his death is believed to be accidental.
The popular FOX ‘Glee’ actor Monteith, 31, was found dead Saturday afternoon in Vancouver, British Columbia where he had been staying all week. The Vancouver police have not yet disclosed if Monteith was in Canada for personal or business reasons (Monteith is from Canada). It was when Monteith failed to check out on schedule, that hotel staff went to his room and found that the actor had passed away, though an immediate cause of death was not released. The police ruled out foul play from the beginning.
Monteith was due to begin working on the fifth season of the Fox show GLEE in two weeks. The actor had just attended rehab when he was 19, the actor checked himself into a rehab facility in March.
