Cory Monteith official autopsy will take place on Monday
The news of Cory Monteith’s death earlier this morning came as a devastating shock to fans and coworkers. Vancouver Police have now confirmed that the autopsy for Cory Monteith is scheduled for Monday.
Cory Monteith, a standout star on the popular FOX series “Glee” was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room late Saturday night, news of the event hit the internet in the earlier hours of Sunday. Fans know Monteith best as Finn Hudson. Staff discovered his body in a room at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel in downtown Vancouver after the actor missed his check-out time. He was only 31 at the time of his death.
Cory Monteith had a history of substance abuse, he had even entered rehab earlier this year. Monteith had been staying in the hotel since July 6, 2013 and was scheduled to stay until Saturday. The Vancouver police department confirmed that there were other people in the room with the actor on Friday night, but video and key entries point to the actor returning to his room early Saturday morning, and it is expected that Monteith was alone when he died. There is currently no Foul play suspected in Monteith’s death.
