Katy Perry is the voice of Smurfette in the sequel to the Smurfs franchise ‘The Smurfs 2,’ but it’s pop-princess Britney Spears that released the debut music-video for the film.

Both of Spears’ children (Jayden and Sean) are shown sitting in a theater watching a screening of “The Smurfs 2”. The film itself is set to premiere on July 31. The original film was releasedin 2011 flick.
In the video Spears is transported through the screen to join her famous blue-friends. Spears is shown singing with Smurfs and taking a tour of Smurf Village. Most of the video contains clips from the film, which has Katy Perry, Neil Patrick Harris and Hank Azaria (Gargamel).
Spears told MTV her reason behind doing the song, “because my boys. They’re obsessed with the Smurfs. We’ve seen ‘The Smurfs’ movie a million trillion times and they were told they could be in the video and all this cool stuff, so that’s the reason why I did it.” As for the title Spears said, “It’s about feeling good. Like when a guy makes you giddy. It’s more of a feeling. When I eat chocolate I have that ‘ooh la la’ feeling.”
