The CW announced a cast member that is sure to thrill fans of the hit series ‘Arrow’, the lovely Summer Glau (Firefly) is set to join the cast in the second season.
Glau starred in both Terminator and Firefly, now she will have a recurring role on The CW’s drama ‘Arrow’. It has been discovered that Glau will play the beautiful yet “dangerous Isabel Rochev, vp acquisitions at Stellmoor International. That company is trying to assume control of Queen Consolidated. Glau will even arrive in time for the season two premiere of the show.
Isabel exact role and motives are still shrouded in mystery, we do know that she made the list of powerful, yet evil, people in Robert Queen’s book. Fans of the Green Arrow know that the character Glau is playing was once a slave, but rose to become the leader of Queen Industries. Glau will join China White (Kelly Hu), Deadshot (Michael Rowe), Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) and Deathstroke/Slade Wilson (Manu Bennett).
Fan of the series can stay tuned as we report live from San Diego’s Comic-Con, the show will have panels and announcements at that time. If you are attending, on July 20, from 5:15-6 p.m. you can preview the new season with executive producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg. Amell, Katie Cassidy, Colton Haynes, Emily Bett Rickards and David Ramsey from the cast will be there as well.
The season premier of Arrow is on October 9, 2013 on The CW.
