It has been confirmed that Mariah Carey has been taken into a local hospital, the singer hurt her shoulder while filming her latest music video.
 
Talking to the press her reps say, “doctors reset her shoulder” and that “she is fine.” The singer was admitted late Sunday to a local hospital here in New York City. All of this happened while Carey was filming a new video for the remix version of her song “#Beautiful” (yes it comes with a hashtag) with the rapper Young Jeezy. On set directing the video was her husband Nick Cannon.
 
Carey only has a few days to rest, she is expected to perform with the New York Philharmonic on Central Park’s Great Lawn for the 2013 MLB All-Star Charity Concert this Saturday. That concert is being held to benefit Superstorm Sandy victims.
