John Mayer swoons Milwaukee concert with a dedication to Katy Perry
Katy Perry and John Mayer have had no problem flaunting their relationship with fans, the duo recently published an Instagram picture of the two of them in coordinating American-Flag themed attire. Recently Mayer opened up his current tour with a dedication to the songstress, thanking her for getting him through a rough time in his life.
Mayer dedicated a song to Perry, she was watching the show from the mixing board, on the opening night of his Born and Raised World Tour, according to Rolling Stone. It was when he walked on stage in Milwaukee at the Marcus Amphitheatre, that he thanked Perry for her help during his vocal chord problems. That medical setback caused Mayer not to speak for almost 2 years (20 months).
He told the crowd, “She was so patient,” adding that the time they spent together allowed her, “to continue to get to know me and love me.” Mayer dedicated “A Face to Call Home,” a newer song from his 2012 album Born and Raised. Mayer stated, “Katy, who is my face to call home.”
