It’s been three years since Sony released the original animated comedy ‘Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs,’ but the sequel to the popular film is on its way and you can watch the new trailer above.
The original film hit theaters in 2009, and grossed a little over $240 million worldwide. Now Bill Hader (Flint Lockwood), Anna Faris (Sam Sparks), James Caan (Tim Lockwood), Will Forte (Chester V), Andy Samberg (Brent), Benjamin Bratt (Manny), Neil Patrick Harris (Steve), Terry Crews (Earl), Kristen Schaal (Barb) will all join forces to voice the sequel, aptly named ‘Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2’.
The screenplay was written by Erica Rivinoja and John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein, with the story credits going to Phil Lord & Christopher Miller and Erica Rivinoja. Producing credits go to Pam Marsden, Kirk Bodyfelt with executive credits going to Phil Lord, Christopher Miller. Of course the film was inspired by the book, written by Judi Barrett and illustrated by Ron Barrett.
