There is some great news coming in from Sony Computer Entertainment regarding their Music Unlimited service, the company has announced new offline and online features that will be added to the 1.3 update on iOS.
If you use Sony’s Music Unlimited service’s for iPhone and iPod you will soon get offline playback and high quality audio for streaming playback, both are included in the version 1.3 update that will go live “very soon”.

In a statement online Sony states, “Similar to the Music Unlimited Android app, iOS users can now download individual albums and tracks, as well as any playlists they have created to their device and enjoy music even when a cellular or Wi-Fi connection isn’t available, or when they want to conserve battery life or curb data usage. Additionally, the version 1.3 update will offer the ability to listen to your music in crystal clear 320kbps AAC high fidelity audio while streaming”.
Sony states that the app is “currently under review with Apple”, and should go live very soon.
