Promising rapper Lil Snupe dies from gunshot wounds early Thursday morning
In a tragic turn of events, the rapper known as Lil Snupe, was shot and killed in his homestate of Louisiana this morning (Thursday).
The artist recently signed onto Meek Mill’s Dream Chaser’s label, he was 18 when he was killed. According to Police reports, the 18 year-old, real name Addarren Ross, was killed around 4:00 a.m. at Maplewood Apartments in the town of Winnfield. Ross was shot two-times and later died from his injuries.
There is a suspect in the case but that suspect has not been identified by Police at this time. His manager, DJ Smallz, confirmed his death on Twitter stating, “The call I got this morning is un real RIP 2 my Lil n**** lilsnupe.” The lable, Dream Chasers’ Louie V Gutta, also took to Twitter stating, “I aint gone lie i cant stop crying! I Can’t Believe My Youngin Gone! RIP lil bro @LilSnupe.” Snupe’s last tweet stated, “i Hold it Down 4 Louisiana.”
