Edward Furlong arrested for Assualting Girlfriend, held on $100,000 bail
Things are not going well for Edward Furlong, the actor in the ‘Green Hornet’ was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend earlier today (Tuesday). Furlong pleaded not guilty today in a Los Angeles Superior Court.
According to reports, Furlong assaulted his girlfriend and threatened her if she called the police. Most people know Furlong from his work in ‘Terminator 2’ and earlier films in his career. This is his latest brush with the law, for he has had several. He was facing two misdemeanor battery cases and was already under a restraining order when he allegedly went to his girlfriend’s West Hollywood home back in May. At that time it was reported that he assaulted her and damaged some of her possessions, this according to the L.A. District Attorney’s Office.
In Los Angeles he faces three felonies and a misdemeanor, which could mean up to four years in prison if he is convicted. A preliminary hearing was set for July 1, 2013.
