Two new acts have been confirmed for the upcoming ‘Rock for Oklahoma’ benefit. That event is scheduled to take place on July 23 in Oklahoma City. Here are the details for the show and how to see it.
Kings of Leon have a lot of attachment and a very personal reason for attending, Oklahoma is their home state. “We couldn’t be more proud to lend a hand to home state,” the bassist Jared Followill stated, he continued “This is the least we could do.”
The F5 tornando that tore through the area left countless without homes and injured, while also taking the lives of 24 people. The concert itself will take place at the local Chesapeake Energy Arena and has quite an impressive lineup already but more acts will be added as schedules, tours and traveling is adjusted with other bands. Tickets are available for $35 to $50 by calling 1.800.745.3000 or through ticketmaster.
