When it works, it works, for the fifth film in their careers, Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio are working together to create ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’.
“The Wolf of Wall Street,” will be the film adaptation of Jordan Belfort’s memoirs (book link below) which told of his meteoric rise and eventual fall while woking in the New York financial market. Among the bullet-points of Belfort’s career were his exhausting social life, his penchant for parties and his turbulent personal life. Matthew McConaughey, Jonah Hill and Kyle Chandler will co-star in the film.
This marks the first trailer for the film, released late last night (Sunday). The trailer was released with the new Kanye West song “Black Skinhead,” which comes from the upcoming fourth album “Yeezus.”
This film features an adaptation from Terence Winter (Boardwalk Empire) and produced by Joey McFarland, Scorsese, Emma Tillinger Koskoff, Irwin Winkler, Alexandra Milchan, DiCaprio and his Appian Way partner Jennifer Killoran. “The Wolf of Wall Street” will hit theaters on theaters November 15, 2013. The original story is available in a wide-array of editions, including digital from online sites like amazon.
