Jay-Z says the next album ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’ goes to Samsung Users First, for free
Jay-Z is pretty great at making a spectacle of things, unless he’s taking the subway to the Knicks then he’s pretty low-profile, his announcement that his next album will be free to Samsung users though is more elaborate.
The rapper announced the news through a late-night commercial that aired during game five of the NBA Finals. The new album ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’ will go to the over one million owners of the Samsung Galaxy S II, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note II. They will be the first to hear it, with exclusive access to the album first on July 4, 2013 and it will be free. On MagnaCartaHolyGrail.com you can see the announcement, the Samsung commercial on the other hand you can watch below.

You will find a countdown to July 4. “We don’t have any rules; everybody is trying to figure it out,” Jay-Z says in the video. “That’s why the Internet is like the Wild West, the Wild Wild West. We need to write the new rules.”
