First Trailer for Matthew McConaughey, Woody Harrelson HBO series True Detectives

 
HBO has released the first trailer for the upcoming cop drama ‘True Detectives’ starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. The new HBO series is set to begin in 2014.
 
HBO released the first teaser for ‘True Detective’ earlier this afternoon (Friday). The series will be an eight-episode drama with McConaughey and Harrelson as two detectives investigating a murder. The two actors play Rust Cohle (McConaughey) and Martin Hart (Harrelson), their once separate lives join paths while on the hunt for a serial killer in the swamps, bayous and forests of Louisiana.
 
The story was written by Nic Pizzolatto and Jane Eyre’s Cary Fukunaga is directing the series. If it succeeds, you can expect a new case every season. The trailer is amazingly well done, dark and mysterious opener for the highly anticipated series.
