Sure there are fireworks, hotdogs and hamburgers, but this year do something a bit more fun. Syfy will celebrate Independence Day by taking viewers into a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity when the channel presents its traditional The Twilight Zone marathon.
Fans of the series, or anyone who has been interested in catching up on the famous Science-fiction from Rod Serling, can start watching Wednesday, July 4 from 8AM through 6AM on July 5th (ET/PT). The network has stated that, “all the fan favorite episodes will air during prime time” so you don’t have to worry about sleeping through some of the best.
There are so many classic episodes to watch and more than I can even recall off the top of my head. If you are new to the series it may surprise you just how many references to the show are made in modern-day shows and movies. Our favorite of course is ‘Futurama’ and their ‘The Scary Door’ moments.
