Jenny Lewis and Johnathan Rice to score Song One, featuring Anne Hathaway
Indie-folk fans should be excited to learn that the popular duo of Jenny Lewis and Johnathan Rice have been brought on board to score the upcoming Anne Hathaway film ‘Song One’. Here are the latest details.
The Worldview Entertainment, Marc Platt Productions film will star Oscar Award winner Anne Hathaway and will also feature the delightful and also an Oscar Award winning actor Mary Steenburgen. The film is about an archaeologist who returns home from assignment after her brother is injured. During this trip home the archaeologist meets and begins a relationship with a musician.
The musical duo will write original content for the film but will also score the picture as well. The groups first album “I’m Having Fun Now” is available on iTunes. Both Lewis and Rice have also had roles in films, Lewis in smaller roles in the early 90’s and Rice took the role of Roy Orbison in ‘Walk the Line’. Lewis will touring with the reunited Postal Service.
