FX has announced another comedy pilot that the network hopes takes off. Just a few hours after announcing Tracy Morgan’s comedy series, FX confirms Grear’s involvement in one as well.
Although the pilot-series is still without a name there are a few details that have been confirmed about the show. Grear has had quite a nice streak when it comes to picking comedies, the actor was on ‘Arrested Development’ and is one of the most favorable characters on FX’s hit animated show ‘Archer’. The new Andrew Gurland comedy pilot involves two friends that are desperately trying to save their marriage. Greer has been casted to play Lina Bowman, the wife of Russ Bowman (Nat Faxon).
The character Frear plays has difficulty meeting the sexual fancies of her husband, due to her overworked schedule and three daughters. Gurland wrote the script and will direct and executive produce the series with Paul Young and Peter Principato. Salamo Levin, who developed the entry with Gurland, will produce the FX Productions half-hour show.
