It looks like ‘Hannibal’ fans will have at least another season to learn more about D. Lecter. NBC has confirmed that the series has been picked for another season.
NBC took a little while longer to renew Hannibal, the Silence of the Lambs prequel has been picked up for season two next year. The series will return in full-force, NBC having ordered 13 episodes for the sophomore season.
The show brought to you by Bryan Fuller and Gaumont International Television, is one of the few new series that took off on the the Thursday at 10 p.m. slot. NBC had nothing but good tidings for the show when it was announced that it would be returning. NBC entertainment president Jennifer Salke stated, “We’re so proud of Bryan’s vision for a show that is richly textured, psychologically complex, and very compelling,” adding, “There are many great stories still to be told.”
