Talented musician and former member of The Beatles, Ringo Starr, has announced plans to publish a new collection of pictures, and previously unreleased personal photos, from the band’s history. Starr has decided to publish the collection as an eBook, and it will be available in June.
Fans can expect to download the new digital collection on June 12, 2013. The eBook “Photograph,” will only be available through the iTunes iBookstore and is releasing alongside the new Grammy Museum exhibit on Starr. That exhibit is named “Ringo: Peace & Love,” according to a statement from the book’s publishers. Inside the eBook fans will find personal photographs from Starr’s childhood in Liverpool, England, as well as moments during his time with Paul McCartney, John Lennon and George Harrison. “These are shots that no one else could have,” Starr said in a statement. The book isn’t just photographs however, Starr has also included his own video recordings which will also be featured in the digital version.
There will also be a limited-edition hand-bound book, signed by Starr himself, that will be available for purchase in December. Exact pricing or a definite release date was not released at this time.
