‘Killing Kennedy’ will star Rob Lowe and Ginnifer Goodwin
There will be a new factual-drama series out later this year called ‘Killing Kennedy’. The show has a few impressive television-dtars attached to it, including Rob Lowe and Ginnifer Goodwin.
Fans should recognize Ginnifer Goodwin from hit current series ‘One Upon a Time’ and Rob Lowe of course from his earlier world in films and television. Lowe is currently playing a recurring role in ‘Parks and Recreation’. The series will also star Michelle Trachtenberg. The two-hour original drama from National Geographic is from Scott Free Productions. The series is based on the best-selling book by Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard. A previous installment in the series was called ‘Killing Lincoln’. The drama begins in 1959 and follows the lives of Kennedy (played by Lowe) and the assassin Lee Harvey Oswald until they eventually meet in Dallas.
Goodwin has been signed-on to play the iconic former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, and Trachtenberg will play Oswald’s Russian wife Marina. Production is scheduled to begin in June in Richmond, Va., and Nelson McCormick will be directing the script written by Kelly Masterson. The premier will center around the 50th anniversary of Kennedy’s assassination.
