Square Enix has been working on ‘Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn’ for over three years. They have doubled their efforts since the game was redesigned and reworked into its current version. With E3 2013 and the actual launch on PS3 and PC just around the corner, the company is still showing players the new changes.
The MMO was announced three years ago at E3, and at E3 this year you will see the launch of the game in its current form, under the new name “Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn”. PS3 players have yet to start playing the game, but a release on PS3 is just around the corner. Last week Square Enix released the first details in the Collector’s Edition of the game, offering players a chance to get free in-game items and tangible goodies when they first get their game.
Sine Square Enix has been working on the title the developers haven’t been shy about releasing in-game footage, walkthroughs, podcasts, tutorials and tours of the new design. Late last week the developers released the video that you see above, showing off Eorzea. The game officially releases on August 27, 2013 on both PS3 and PC this time. The collector’s edition of the game is definitely worth a look if you plan on jumping in to the MMO.
