Amanda Bynes arrested in New York, forced to go under psychiatric evaluation
The troubling life of actress Amanda Bynes took another step downward this evening as NBC New York is reporting that the former child-star was taken into custody after an incident in New York City.
According to report, Bynes was charged with reckless endangerment early Thursday night, then taken into custody for a psychiatric evaluation. Bynes, 27, was a former star of Nickelodeon, and reportedly threw a bong out the window of her New York apartment when police arrived on the scene after reports came in for a “disorderly person”. It was at that time that Bynes was taken to the Roosevelt Hospital to undergo a mandated psychiatric evaluation, after which she will be escorted to the Midtown police station and will be processed there. Bynes is currently due in court next to deal with a pending DUI case in Los Angeles.
