In his upcoming directorial debut, Joseph Gordon-Levitt leads in all-star cast in a film about a narcissistic, porn-addicted Jersey boy’s love-story.
The film was picked up by Relativity Media for $4 million and stars Gordon-Levitt, Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore, Tony Danza, Glenne Headly and Brie Larson. Gordon-Levitt stars in the leading role alongside his love interest (played by Johansson). The script was written by Joseph Gordon-Levitt himself, and is a different role than his previous works.
It may be hard for Joseph Gordon-Levitt fan’s to see him in such a new light, though the actor has come to the film completely reshaped, sporting a body that might rival Johansson’s usual overtaking on the subject. The film is a comedy and is set to release October 18, 2013.
