UPDATED: Internet hero ‘Kai the hitchhiker’ arrested for murder
Just a few short weeks ago Caleb Lawrence McGillvary, better known as “Kai the Hitchhicker”, was made famous with an acto of heroism. Now that same man is being sought after in a murder case.
UPDATE: Caleb McGillvary was apprehended at a Philadelphia bus terminal and is being held on $3 million bail.
The Union County law enforcement say that the murder happened in Clark, N.J and has already issued an arrest warrant for Kai, in the murder of Joseph Galfy, Jr., this according to a report by WABC. The deceased man, Galfy, found dead inside his home, suffering from blunt-force trama on May 13, 2013. The authorities involved in the case say Kai was identified by his full name, should be considered armed and dangerous. It’s also believed that he may have cut his hair in an effort to disguise himself. Kai is charged with murder and bail is set at $3 million as of today.
