A new trailer for the upcoming installment to the ‘Assassin’s Creed’ franchise has been released. Check out the new trailer ‘Golden Age of Pirates’ form Ubisoft.
The trailer doesn’t offer any gameplay, instead it sets the stage for the game. The trailer talks about the age of pirates. Ubisoft has been teasing the new game for the last few weeks, the game itself is scheduled to release on October 29, 2013 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, future Xbox and the Wii U. The game will once again be an open-world title with “50 unique locations where you can live the life of a pirate” according to Ubisoft. The game will also once again feature an online multiplayer component, offering an “eclectic cast of characters from the Golden Age of Pirates” and “exotic locations”.
As for the story, players will take on the role of Edward Kenway, who Ubisoft describes as “a charismatic yet brutal pirate captain, trained by Assassins”. Edward can switch between the Hidden Blade of the Assassin’s Order and all new weaponry including four flintock pistols and dual cutlass swords.
