Fans of the country-music Soap Opera ‘Nashville’ should be happy to hear that the series has been renewed for a second-season.
The confirmation came earlier this evening as ABC is currently announcing what will be returning and what will be cancelled for next season’s schedule. The show stars Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere as country music stars living through the ups and downs of fame. More breakthrough appearances from the supporting cast began shining through as the first season came to a close. The show launched with an outstanding 9 million viewers and a 2.8 ratings among adults 18-49. That even beat out CSI, Chicago Fire and Arrow. The show itself is also selling soundtracks from episodes, much like Fox’s GLEE does adding an other revenue stram to the already popular show.
You can expect even more drama, heartache and special-guests as season 2 begins next year.
