Dead or Alive 5 confirmed for Xbox 360 and PS3 in new trailer
Team Ninja has finally confirmed that “Dead or Alive 5: Ultimate” will be released on both Xbox 360 and PS3 later this year.
The bouncy fighters will be released this fall on both consoles. In the announcement Yosuke Hayashi of Team Ninja stated, “The game has a lot to offer and we’re excited that our fans will have the opportunity to enjoy an experience that delivers on our signature high energy fighting entertainment.” There will be an advantage to buying the ultimate edition over the standard, including new content (some of which is pulled from Dead or Alive 5 Plus). Older fighting stages and new stages will be added to the edition, all of which will feature the same dynamic features that have become a staple of the fighter.
Ninja Gaiden’s Momiji will join the cast, with even more fighters being announced leading up to launch. Team Ninja confirmed that this game will have the largest selection of fighters to date. The edition will feature an “Ultimate Tag” mode, which is an “improved Tag gameplay for even more over-the-top action in multi-character fights” according to Team Ninja.
Of course you can expect to hear about DLC, new characters and more features as we get closer to launch.
