Players of the popular MMO ‘Star Wars: The Old Republic’ ahve two new game-updates to look forward to in the coming weeks. Bioware and EA have confirmed the dates of both the 2.1 and 2.2 updates.
Bioware confirmed the dates with an official post on the SWTOR forums, it was Community Manager Eric Musco who published the open-letter to players. In the release Musco talks about some of the issues that players have brought up in the past and what each of the updates will bring. As of right now update 2.1 is set for May 14, 2013 and update 2.2 is set for June 11, 2013. Game update 2.2 is still under wraps at the moment but at least you know that is expected to launch fairly soon.
Musco states, “Update 2.1 brings a whole lot of customization and convenience features to the game which have been requested for quite some time, such as character name changes etc. As we have stated in the past, we always design systems like this knowing that subscribers will be receiving Cartel Coins each month, and certainly more options for your monthly Cartel Coin grant can’t be a bad thing!”
You can check out the official post below and mark you calendar for the new updates.
