Big news for fans of ‘The Sims’, Maxis Games has announced that a new installment of the popular series is expected to launch on multiple platforms in 2014.
The news was announced on Twitter and on the official EA Blog. The company stated, “Today we are revealing to our top fans the fact that The Sims 4 is coming to PC and Mac in 2014”. The official post went on to say:
“The Sims franchise is fueled by the passion and creativity of its millions of fans around the world,” reads EA’s announcement. “Their continued devotion to the franchise ignites the fire of creativity of the team at The Sims Studio, driving them to continually improve and innovate on one of the world’s most successful simulation game that has sold more than 150 million copies worldwide.”
No further information was released at this time but you can expect more information as the teams get further into development.
