It seems that star of HBO’s hit series ‘Game of Thrones’ is spreading her dragon wings and joining yet another adventure, this time with James Franco.
The book “The Garden of Last Days” was originally written by Andre Dubus III, and James Franco will be directing the adaptation. THR reported that Emilia Clarke will star in the film. tHis comes after Clarke’s initial run of her Broadway rendition of ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ which met mixed reviews. The film is being funded by Nu Image/Millennium and is being produced by Gerard Butler, Alan Siegel, Danielle Robinson, Hanna Weg, Vince Jolivette and Miles Levy.
The book was Dubus’ follow up to his best-selling title ‘House of Sand of Fog’. In this book the plot followed three ambitious yet morally challenged individuals who intersect in a Floirida strip-club. Clarke will play as the stripper, who in the book bring her child to the strip-club that the events take place.
Clarke is best known as the stunning Dragon Queen, Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones.
