Square Enix made some big announcements over the weekend, but none bigger than the news that ‘Final Fantasy XIV: ARR’ will be launching this summer for both PS3 and PC.
tHE NEWS CAME VIA Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida at the Nico Nico Chokaigi 2 event in Tokyo over the weekend. There Square Enix announced that FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn will be launching this summer on PC and PlayStation®3.
The game is scheduled to enter the third phase of closed beta testing in June. Beta phase three will introduce PlayStation®3 users to FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn for the very first time, where they will be able to experience the captivating world of Eorzea alongside PC players due to the game’s cross-platform functionality.
Additionally, beta phase three testers will gain access to a wealth of new content, including the introduction of the city states of Ul’dah and Limsa Lominsa.
